Review: LEGO Ninjago 70752 Jungle Trap

Jungle Trap Scene
The pilot film and TV show that spawned a successful, multi-year line of LEGO sets have delivered some ultra-cool sets over the years. I've been building a few and will hope to review them soon, starting with the Ninjago Jungle Trap.

At 58 pieces and two minifigures, this is one of the smaller sets in the line.

The signature pieces in the set comprise the double Jade Blade. The two minifigures included are Kai and Krait, pictured below (respectively).

Kai Krait

The build is tiny but fun. The set even manages to pack in a play feature, the jungle trap. I like that the Ninjago sets have brightly-colored pieces, and this is no different.

Jungle Trap

At a retail price of $8.99, this is a must-have for any Ninjago fan. As of the date this post was published, the set is available at Amazon for less than $7. Here's the official description of this set:

Let battle commence in the Tournament of Elements! Team up with Kai in his unique tournament outfit against evil Anacondrai warrior Krait. Stage a hand-to-hand duel with Kai's sword and Krait's skull axe. Avoid the trap step, which triggers 2 slashing swords, and get to the double Jade Blade first to win the bout! Includes 2 minifigures with assorted weapons and accessories: Kai and Krait.

  • Weapons include Kai's sword and Krait's skull axe
  • Accessories include Krait's skull helmet
  • Jungle Trap features a double Jade Blade, tropical leaf decorative elements and a trap step with moving swords
  • Recreate your favorite scenes from the NINJAGO Masters of Spinjitzu TV show
  • Jungle Trap measures over 2" (7cm) high, 2" (6cm) wide and 5" (13cm) deep
